   George R. Pimlott was born September 1, 1905 in San Francisco. Shortly after the Great San Francisco Earthquake hit in 1906, George's family moved to Mill Valley. He attended Summit School, was in the first graduating class of Old Mill School, and graduated from Tamalpais High School.
