The first and the last No. 1000, Southern Pacific's first diesel, pulls the last passenger train over the Reed Trestle on the Tiburon Branch on July 28, 1962. On the back, there's a cover of a magazine called "The Northwesterner" that has the train on the cover. The magazine is Vol. 13, No. 2 for Fall-Winter 1999 and cost $5. |
