Description |
161 Lovell Ave. Two photos are included of a two story, light-colored shiplap home. Photo 151 shows a portion of the right side of the house, with three double-hung windows upstairs and a large bay window below on the main floor. Photo 151a shows a portion of the left side of the house, with a narrow entry porch leading back to a door. A notation identifies the house as the Norton home. THe house was built as a summer cottage in 1891 for the Thomas McCollam family. He owned the McCollam Fishing & Trading Co., with a codfish drying plant on the west shore of Belvedere. |
