Description |
36 Corte Madera Ave. This is a small, faded sepia photo of a two-story wood frame house. There are matching roofed balconies for the first and second stories on the right side of the building and two windows to the left on the first floor, with one similar window on the upper floor. There are shrubs along the front of the house. The photo is mounted on back paper with "ANKERS' RESIDENCE" and "Built 1890" written underneath. An attached card reads, "The Ankers residence, built in 1890, still stands at 36 Corte Madera Ave, two lots up from City Hall." |
