The Bennetts Building, built in 1906, was occupied at time of photo by Marin Optometry (158 Throckmorton Avenue) on the ground floor of this two story structure. The adjacent ground floor space (154 Throckmorton Avenue) was unoccupied. Previous to an extensive 1920 remodel, this building was known as the Hikers Retreat. |
