Description |
Scanned pages of a photograph album. This album was a gift to the Donor's great aunt, Lauren Black, from a boyfriend. Contains photos of various Mill Valley sites, Willow Camp (Stinson Beach), Big Lagoon (Muir Beach), Mount Tamalpais and other local beaches. There are photos of the donor's father, Normand Black (born 1923) as a baby and other family members. The family owned El Marin Florist on Throckmorton Avenue. At the end of the book is a clipping, added later, from the Mill Valley Record in 1957 announcing the new location for the florist shop. A book by Normand Black, Fondly Remembered, A Collection of Memories & Musing, is in the History Room's collection. |
