Description |
John Joseph Reed house and estate set on a knoll at center of photo. Reed Station on the San Francsico and North Pacific Railroad Line is at the bottom with a water tank used to supply steam locomotives. What is now called Harbor Cove on the east side of the Strawberry Point is visible at center left and the modern-day Cove Shopping Center is set close to the lower left corner of the photo. The area is now part of Tiburon but was once part of Rancho Corte Madera del Presidio founded by John Joseph Reed's father, John Thomas Reed. |
