Description |
The three subjects, an adult male and two children, are standing at the head of their staircase at their home in Mill Valley. The family named the house the "Melanope," after their boat. On the front of the photograph is handwritten, "Basil Guin-Lance @ 'Melanope.' Mill Valley, Calif." On the back of the photograph is handwritten, "Guin & Lance Robinson (the children)." Basil, Guin and Lance. Further description - on the front of the Photograph is handwritten: Basil, Guin - Lance @ "Melanope" Mill Valley, Calif. In the sleeve with this photograph is a typed card that reads: "Basil, Guin & Lance. Melinope was the name of their house, after the boat." |
