Ruins of building destroyed in fire June 18, 1984. La Veranda Restaurant is shown. Fire destroyed Dowd's Moving and Storage, Curtis Gallery, and La Veranda Restaurant on 100 block of Throckmorton Avenue. The wooden buildings built in the early 1900s had no sprinkler systems. |
