Homestead Valley Open Space provided by Open Space Committee resulting in bond issue to provide funds for purchase. Voters approved bond by 4 to 1 - a $600,000 bond to be paid over 20 years at 5.7% interest. The average monthly property tax to homeowners was $3.35 September 18, 1973. |
