Ink drawings on front of postcard depicting a grove of redwoods along railroad tracks with the caption "sequoias--on the way up. Mt. Tamalpais"; a gentleman overlooking Profile Rock with a train curling around the bend; and an image of the railroad as a train makes its way up the mountainside with the caption, "Mountain train ascending Mt. Tamalpais". There's printed text which reads, "I felt run down before I went up, but when I came down, I felt way up." There's handwritten text across the face and side edge of the postcard.
