Front of postcard depicts a view of the Double Bow Knot train track on Mt. Tamalpais, as well as the hills and peaks of Mill Valley, the San Francisco Bay, and the view of San Francisco in the far background. There is a handwritten message scrawled along multiple edges of the postcard and a printed caption which reads, "San Francisco Bay, Cliff House, Pacific Ocean, and City of San Francisco from summit of Mt. Tamalpais (1/2 mile high.) The "Bow Knot" on the Mt. Tamalpais R.R. in the foreground." There is also publisher information given as "Britton & Rey, San Francisco. 534." The back of the postcard is postmarked with 1907 stamp and is addressed to a Mrs. Jossie. |
