The front of the postcard depicts a gravity car in the distance winding its way along a circular portion of the Mt. Tamalpais and Muir Wood Scenic Railway railroad tracks. The printed caption in the upper right reads, "Nearly a complete circle on Mt. Tamalpais Railway. Showing Gravity car on the way down the Mountain." There is a short handwritten message on the front. On the back of the postcard, publisher information is listed as , "M. Rieder, Publ., Los Angeles, Cal. No 3386. Made in Germany." There is a handwritten message on the back. |
